Teenage-MacHead Greg Knackstedt verrät auf der MacMind-Seite, wie er im Kunstunterricht sein iBook anmalte: »The more alcohol you use the easier it is to get the paint off.« Denn zuerst muss mit Waschbenzin (engl.: rubbing alcohol) das alte Apple-Weiß herunter geschrubbt werden, bevor man neu draufpinseln kann: »If possible it would be best to let the lid soak in a bucket of rubbing alcohol over night, then the paint should come right off. Otherwise you will need to use cotton balls and take the time to rub off all the paint. This may seem like it is not working at first, but it will.«
